Who We Are

Welcome to Leilani Estates Neighborhood Watch.
We are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation registered with the State of Hawaii as of May 2015.  

Attend an LENW Monthly Meeting held at the Leilani Estates Community Center building or pavilion (subject to any Covid 19 Restrictions) at 13-3441 Moku St., on the last Tuesday of every month. The meeting starts at 7 p.m.  You can talk with the Community Police officer assigned to Leilani Estates and other LENW members about ways to make our homes less attractive to criminals, find out crime statistics in our Community and Puna, and if there are any issues that the Community should be aware of.

• LENW is organized for the purpose of crime deterrence, educating members in the prevention of crime, emergency preparedness, improving and beautifying the subdivision, promoting neighborhood and community communication and relations, without regard to age, color, creed, national origin, race, religion or sexual orientation.

• Our Community’s best protection are the eyes, ears and observation by property owners, residents and members of LENW who volunteer to do daily mobile patrols.  There are also walkers, bike riders and window watchers who are members of LENW that help keep an eye out for suspicious activity in Leilani Estates. LENW strives to forge mutually supportive relationships with Hawaii County law enforcement, government, citizens, businesses and organizations for the purpose of achieving LENW’s objectives.
